Fall Mobile Market

Through a partnership of the Albemarle Foundation for Education, Communities In Schools, and the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank we were able to serve 74 families from the Woodbrook Elementary School community. The rain did not deter staff from Woodbrook Elementary School, Albemarle Foundation for Education and Albemarle County Public Schools’ leadership from coming together to receive food deliveries, pack, and distribute produce and self-stable items from the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and turkeys provided by the Albemarle Foundation for Education through its Families Helping Families Fund and a grant from the Bama Works Fund. It was a joy to serve our community and support our students and families!
